Blacktop’s Signature Polo is the sporty polo shirt by Blacktop Yacht Club Menswear, cut to a regular fit. Crafted of 60% Polyester and 40% Cotton yarns in a Micro-piqué knit, this short-sleeved polo shirt is detailed with an embroidered skull and crossed pistons logo. Contrast tipping adds an athletic touch at the collar and cuffs. This polo is made to shrink as little as possible. Pique knit is a very unstable knit. It tends to think and torque when laundered. We’ve used a poly rich yarn and knit the fabric as a Micro-Pique instead of a more traditional open pique, to reduce shrinkage and add stability. Technically you could call this a performance polo, but the term “Performance,” when it comes to apparel is sort of played out at his point, so we just call it the Signature Polo. It will perform better than 100% cotton pique polos though.
So, wear a polo that fits your personality and shows your interest in Automotive culture. It may not have a pony or a pink whale or any of the various fish on it, but it does have a really edgy Skull and pistons embroidered on the left chest!
